Please note you can purchase a Residential Meal plan through Residence Life at 320-308-2166. Whether you are a student living on campus, or a student living off campus, you can purchase Commuter Meal Plans online, or in the Sodexo office at Garvey Commons.

*Please note, first year residential students are not eligible for the commuter meal plans.

2009-2010 Meal Plans - Residents

  • Husky AnyTime
All you can eat in Garvey Commons from 7:00 a.m. - 7:00 p.m., includes $175 Munch Money* per semester

  • Husky 14
Any 14 meals in a week and includes $175 of Munch Money* per semester.  Your 14 meals usage starts Monday morning and runs through Sunday night.

  • Husky 160
Any 160 meals per semester and allows you to transfer blocks to Munch Money twice per semester, includes $70 Munch Money* per semester.

This is the only plan that allows you an exchange rate of $5 per meal to Munch Money allowing you to use other campus dining options. Students on the Husky 160 plan can exchange their meals into Munch Money twice per semester: September 8-19 and November 10-14 for Fall and January 19-30 and April 6-10 for Spring. Exchanged meal dollars will not roll over to spring and you may NOT change from the Husky 160 to any other plan after the first week in each semester.
  • Residential Plans: (Husky Anytime, Husky 14, Husky 160)

Meals: expire at the end of each semester

    Munch Money:

Converted: (meals from the 160 plan converted into $5 blocks of munch money) expires at the end of each semester

Flex: (money that comes with you meal plan) carries over from spring semester to fall semester, but will all expire at the end of an academic year, therefore fall’s flex munch money will carry over to the spring, but everything will expire at the end of spring semester.

Dining:  will never lose as long as you are an active student or employee

  • Those on the 160 plan will not be able to view their Munch Money balance due to a system error. We are working on fixing this problem. If you have converted blocks into Munch Money, it is in the system and you should be able to complete your transaction in any of our dining locations. Your balance will then appear on your reciept.

*Munch Money, formerly Husky Bucks, can be used at

any Sodexo dining location.
